Unfortunately not all events can be displayed because score sheets have been misplaced. If anyone has information on other past shoots, such as courses of fire and photos we would be happy to include them.
Ten rounds standing unsupported, ten rounds sitting or kneeling, 50 yards. 2 minutes for each 10 rounds.
Two sets of 3 targets. 6 rounds on the first 3, reload, move to the next set of 3, repeat and then shoot the stop plate. Range 10 yards.

This is an annual hunting challenge where we invite the members of the Valhalla Gun Club to some shooting fun.
Any" deer legal" centre fire rifle is allowed but the same rifle must be used for all stages.
Stage one: 200 yard precision, sitting or kneeling supported, 5 rounds in one minute.
Stage two: Moving target, 100 yards, standing unsupported, 3 rounds during 10 second exposure, shot twice.
Stage three: Five animal safari, engage 5 steel targets at ranges from 50 to 100 yards in one minute.
Stage four: Walk and shoot, Starting at 100 yards advance on targets and shoot one round at whistle blast, three second time limit per opportunity, five opportunities as range decreases to 50 yards.
Stage five: Buck v.Doe, Range 100 yards sitting or kneeling supported, one minute time limit, shoot buck partially obscured by doe, minus 10 points for hitting doe and edge shots on buck don't count.

Course of fire
Start with all firearms loaded, on start signal, standing supported or unsupported drop 5 plates and put rifle in rack. Advance with shotgun and engage 5 steel plates on the move, rack shotgun. Draw pistol and engage a further 12 steel plates along the route, time stops when stop plate drops. Minus 10 points for each target missed
Stage two - Rifle and pistol
Rounds - 10 rifle, unlimited pistol. Range - 100yds rifle, 10-15 pistol. Targets - Figure 11 combat & 8" plates. Position - Rifle, standing unsupported. Pistol standing and moving. Time - countback
Course of fire
On start signal engage 100yg fig 11 target, bench your rifle. Draw/pick up pistol and go to cover, then engage 4 falling plates. Reload (mandatory while behind cover) and engage 5 combat targets on the move, time stops when stop plate is dropped, (Any shot fired while stationary will cause highest scoring hit to be deducted).
Stage three- Shotgun and pistol
Rounds - unlimited. Range - 10 yards. Targets - steel plates. Position- standing unsupported. Time - countback
Course of fire
On start signal engage 5 plates with shotgun, bench your firearm. Draw/pick up pistol and engage second set of 5 plates. This stage is shot twice.
Stage four- Rifled slug
Rounds - 10 allowed. Range - 50 yards. Targets - figure 11 combat and 12" falling plate. Position - standing unsupported. Time - countback.
Course of fire
On start signal engage the fig 11 scoring target with 5 rounds. Time stops when falling plate is hit, (if plate is not dropped with the remaining 5 rounds the shooter washes out of this stage.

2 combat targets and 3 6" plates @7-10 yds, Standing and prone, Countback timing. Engage combat targets with 3 rds each, move to second point, drop to prone, reload and engage plates, time stops when last plate falls.
Stage two
6 combat targets (3 partially obscured) @ 5 and 25 yds, Standing and sitting, countback timing. Standing, engage obscured combat targets with 2 rds each, (Point deduction for hitting hostage!!), move to second point, sitting or kneeling, reload and engage second set of 3 with 2 rds each, time stops on 12th shot.
Stage Three
6 steel knockdown Pepperpoppers @7-15 yds, Standing, Countback timing, unlimited rounds. On start signal draw/pick up pistol and engage targets. No more than 6 rds loaded, any missed targets will require a reload.

Stage Two

Moving deer target @ 75 yds, 6 rds sitting or kneeling, 3 ten sec. exposures.

Jungle lane, 10 - 15 yds. Fire and movement, 12 knockdown targets, 20 rounds. Time 30 sec, minus 1 point over time, plus 5 points for each remaining round.
Stage two
Speed shoot, 5 - 20 yds. 5 combat targets, 10 rounds, shot twice, double tap on each target. Time 8 sec, (10 sec holstered)
Stage three
Barricade shoot, 10 - 40 yards. Prone unsupported, 9 combat targets + 8" plate. Time 30 sec, (32 holstered) On start, drop to prone and engage targets closest to farthest than drop plate.
Stage four
Hostage shoot. 5 - 15 yards. 4 combat trgets, 1 head box, 1 pepper popper. 10 rounds. Time 6 sec, (8 holsterd). On start engage the headbox, double tap each target, drop popper, 10 pt deduction for missing popper.
